Martial Arts Programs

Peninsula Gymnastics is happy to announce the addition of a Martial Arts Program taught by Vahan Mikaelyan.
Vahan is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Karate awarded by the World Karate Federation (WKF)
He started his career as an Armenian National Team Member where he was a Silver Medallist and in the Team Competition he won the Gold Medal.
Vahan was the Head Coach of the Armenian Junior National Karate Team from 2016-2019. During this time, 2 of his students won the Bronze Medal at the European Karate Championship.

Vahan Career Highlights:

*Proficiency In: Box, Kick Boxing, Kobudo (Knife, Baton, Nunchaku, Sai, Bo, Jo) Krav Maga, Self Defense & hand to hand combat.

*World Karate Federation (WKF) Certified Coach from 2017.

*Official Certificate of Qualification of International Bodyguard & Security Services Association (IBSSA).
